How are players ranked in Counter-Strike 2?

CS2 offers two parallel ranking tracks. Competitive Skill Groups assign one of 18 emblem ranks (Silver through Global Elite) on a per-map basis. Premier Mode, the primary ranked queue, uses a visible numerical Elo-style score that adjusts after every match depending on the result and your individual impact.
