FACEIT CS2 Guide: Levels, Elo & Setup

FACEIT is a third-party matchmaking platform that runs its own servers, anti-cheat system, and ranking ladder for CS2. Players use FACEIT when they want a higher-quality competitive experience than the built-in matchmaking provides. The platform is used by both casual grinders and aspiring professionals.

The main draws of FACEIT include its proprietary anti-cheat client, which runs at the kernel level and is generally considered more effective than Valve's VAC system.
